Phone Reservation
Phone Reservation
Click on the phone reservation button to make a reservation if someone calls and places a reservation over the phone call. Reservation will be pending until your customer agrees with the terms and conditions.
Rentrax gives an ability to send the waiver to sign, payment section to pay the amount(full/ partial amount), and collects the renter’s attributes (Age, Height, Weight, Drivers license & Drivers license expiry date, or any) via email from each and every renter. Once they provide the information the order automatically confirms.

While placing a phone order, Rentrax collects the additional renter’s email address to send the waiver & collect the attributes.
EXAMPLE: In the following screenshot, John Doe is the main renter and he will be receiving an integrated email with the payment section, Attributes, and waiver. Sara & Ryan are the additional renters and they will be receiving the pending email to sign their waivers & fill their attributes section.

In case, if additional renter email is empty the main renter will receive the rest two (Sara& Ryan) emails along with his email. So, John doe can forward the email to the rest of the two renters.
While placing a phone order, you may able to enter the credit card information. End-user can provide the credit card details over the phone at the time of reservation OR you may able to skip the credit card entery at that time and submit it. The main renter will receive a piece of integrated payment information on a pending order email for a confirmation.
Once the order is placed, it will be under a pending state once all the three renters sign the waiver and done with the payment the order gets automatically confirms.

Customer supposed to confirm the order by clicking the “Confirm my reservation” button for accepting the rental agreement and for payment.
Main renter email confirmation:


If the main renter is a regular visitor, they can use the card on file or can able to provide the new card for the payment.
Note: Rentrax will save their credit card information as a token that represents a card stored in the payment gateway.
Note: If the customer provides a new card the existing card will delete and recently added card details will be saved on file.
Additional renter email confirmation:

Once each and every additional renter signs the waiver, the main renter did with the payment, they will click on the submit button to confirm the reservation. Once the reservation is successfully confirmed, an automated confirmation email goes to them.
