Terms and Conditions-Waiver.

Terms and conditions will show up on the order page.

Click on the Activity settings from the sidebar menu or from the main dashboard.  

If you subscribe to more than one rental type, settings should be set individually according to that. Here in the screenshot below Bike and Ski are two different Activities. Action needs to be set up for both rental settings and Message settings.

Click on the Terms and Conditions tab and set the settings below.

After selecting their rental items, your customer needs to agree with the stated terms and conditions and accept for waiver of all claims in order to complete the booking.

Click on Save after adding the waiver.

Rentrax supports two different mechanisms we allow to sign waivers.

• Sign Waiver: Customers use their mouse or a touchscreen to add their signature for accepting the waiver of all claims. Once the rental agreement is entered into the system, you can set this up under Configuration -> Activity Settings -> Order Settings. 

On the order page, once customers click on the edit, read, and sign buttons, terms, and conditions will pop up, and customers and do the digital signature.

• Enhanced Waiver: Rentrax provides some parameters that can be used in the middle of your waiver (importantly, the “initial” field) that your customer should agree to and sign for that particular statement. Enable the setting to enhanced waiver in activity order settings. 

Click save after adding the parameters to the waiver.

On the order page, once customers click on the edit read and sign button, they have provided their first name and last name and need to click on the adapt & continue button and accept the terms and conditions.

Note: Once the order is placed, at the backend you may able to print the terms and conditions.
