Activity Settings

Defining “Activity Settings” helps you to understand the nature of the settings here.

Most of the businesses have one “Activity Type”. Like “Bike Rental” which is considered the only activity type for a bike shop. 

But if a business runs two (Or more) rentals that are different in the features and rental process (Like “Bike rental” and “Ski rental”), then they can have multiple activity types. This can help them to set those activity types differently.

So, we can say then:

There are features that can be set in the “Activity Type” level. But for the businesses with just one “Activity Type”, this does not make any difference and you can call them “Operational Settings” instead of “Activity Type Setting”.

Accessing Activity Settings

Click on the activity settings from the sidebar menu or from the main dashboard.  

If you subscribe to more than one activity, settings should be set individually according to that. Here in the screenshot below Bike and Ski are two different rental types. Action needs to be set up for both rental settings and Message settings.

Click on the setting it includes General settings, Seasons Calendar,  Order Settings, Terms and Conditions, Order (Depreciated) and Payment settings.
